It's not what you get that makes you valuable, it's who you become. Imagine what an amazing life you can live by learning how to give. TD Jakes once said, "If you don't learn to give, like you learn to get, in every area there's not reciprocity, it will die"
We get so consumed into thinking about what we get for what we give, what's the benefit for what we get from it, we forgot what it's like to be a kid again. Think about it, when you're a child, people give to you all the time without getting anything in return, for YEARS! For years and years, you receive so many things and you don't have anything to give for it, your just a child learning about life and absorbing everything around you like a sponge.
Why is it that people give us many things as a child without getting anything in return? How you do anything, is how you'll do everything. It's our rituals in life that dictate who we are and what we become. It's our rituals in life that determine our success in relationships, in finances and monetary wealth, in our business, our
marriages. All it takes is a shift in your mind state to start receiving internal wealth. We have to obtain internal wealth before we can get external wealth. If you get external wealth before internal wealth, you are most likely destined for destruction, depression, lose everyone around you and maybe end up losing your wealth or the most tragic scenario, your life.
Some of the most successful entrepreneurs and motivational speakers will always tell you, give at least 10% of your income to the less fortunate. This not only creates a euphoria and satisfaction in yourself that you can only get from giving to others, this sets you up for greatness. Jim Rohn says, "Find a way to serve the many, for service to many leads to greatness." I really took this saying to heart and I thought about this in great detail. Think about it... Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and others have all achieve greatness by serving many people. Now are they perfect, no, no one is perfect that doesn't exist, but look at how many foundations they've created. Look at how many people they have supported, contributed, saved, helped, transformed through their efforts to create a better world and society.
All it takes in life is to start making those shift in your state of mind, to create more positivity in your surroundings, even when you don't see any or it's filled with negativity, you create your own bubble of positivity and eventually positivity overturns negativity EVERYTIME!
It's time to start your shift, make the decision to try something different in your life to get different results. If you do the things others you, you will have what others have...
